Push Pull Clock
The buttonless digital clock I designed kept a couple things in mind: simplicity and ease of interaction. The product was a digital clock controlled by two rods that when pushed or pulled quickly set the time. The prototype I have displayed below shows this interaction in the simplest way. Pushing down decreases the Hour or Minute value and pushing up increases the value. Some questions you might have:
what about am/pm? The Hour rod could be set to military time or just by pushing the rod up after 11am it goes to 12pm.
are those rods sticking out all the time ? No. I did not prototype the locking feature, but basically the rods would twist and snap into place behind the clock. The rods could be released with a simple valve.
