Lead Switch – Assignment 3

I decided to make my architecture buddies happy and make a switch that would make sure we kept our pencil to the paper. I used the fact that pencil lead (graphite) is conductive to create a simple switch. 5V DC flows through the pencil, and when it touches the aluminum foil behind the paper, either through a cut or when wet, the switch is thrown. Just imagine that when ever you lifted your pencil from the page, an alarm would go off, any student’s nightmare.
